btw, do you have any suggestions on how to disable the autocomplete trigger on the TAB key?

I have this in my .proton:

["autocomplete-plus.confirmCompletion" "tab”]

This enables completion on tabs, which is the opposite of what you want, but that should get you close.

I belive the other choices are ”enter” and ”enter and tab”
