@ashnur: I think not everything is getting reset correctly on reload. What exactly did you do in between reloads or what were the symptons you saw?

changed the additional-packages config

oh, and it seems to me that if I edit that config, then do reload, then edit it again and do another reload, it reinstalls the previously added packages too

like if I just added everything right now
