I tried to install proton from source, but it doesn't seem to see the plugin. Do I need to do any thing else on a fresh atom install? I built and linked it, nothing else

lucien.knechtli06:01:44

weird. it was linking the repo, not the plugin folder

geksilla08:01:24

You have to execute apm link from plugin folder not from the project root.

bah its not working again. I am running apm link from the correct folder

lucien.knechtli14:01:39

well at least it's trying to load now.

austincrft15:01:12

Did it build correctly?

lucien.knechtli16:01:26

had a couple warnings

lucien.knechtli16:01:52

its not the build - tried installing the binary version, and got the same error

lucien.knechtli16:01:10

i'll try reinstalling atom and deleting .atom and .proton

lucien.knechtli17:01:00

seems deleting .atom worked. must have closed it in the middle of a plugin install, which it didn't fix on its own

lucien.knechtli17:01:43

every time I start proton, it says its installing nuclide-file-watcher. is this intended?
