I am sat in the dark hybernating from the heatwave that continues in London. I have taken to working over-night which is quite productive, then sleeping through the heat of the day when I can. Brief Updates: • https://github.com/practicalli/nvim-astro: added a Conventional Commits plugin, providing autocomplete when typing a commit message in neogit • https://practical.li/engineering-playbook/: added Makefile tasks used by Practialli, including Zensical install using UV. Also added a section on Zensical Static Site Generator, which Practicalli books are steadily being migrated too (with a Catppuccin theme). • https://github.com/practicalli/dotfiles: added Proton Pass install script (via Debian package) as Practicalli has migrated from 1Password to Proton Pass (and very satisfied). Updated the UV Python package manager script to install both uv and uvx binaries (uvx to run a python package). Practicalli uses UV instead of Python Pip as it is easier to install and faster to run. Daily/weekly updates continue via the https://practical.li/journal/ I have continued to improve my physical and mental health via Cycling and have created a https://practical.li/cycling/, creating guides to help choose a bicycle ensuring the right size, routes and route planning and review of cycling clothes and component upgrades.
