https://megalinter.io/ version 8 has been released and now provides API reports that can be viewed in a Grafana dashboard. Practicalli projects include a https://practical.li/engineering-playbook/continuous-integration/github/workflows/practicalli/#scheduled-version-check (liquidz/antq-action), which informed me that a new version of MegaLinter was available. All Practicalli open source projects use https://practical.li/engineering-playbook/code-quality/megalinter/ and include MegaLinter workflow configuration, which can be run locally and runs via GitHub Actions CI. I will create a free Grafana dashboard to surface MegaLinter results (and practice my Grafana skills again) There is also a nice MegaLinter upgrade tool that will update the MegaLinter config to the latest version
