I'm currently working on the Practicalli Spacemacs book (I had forgotten how big this is). I'm about a 3rd of the way through (up to Clojure >Project Configuration section), but published a test of the site at https://practicalli-john.github.io/spacemacs-mkdocs-test/ - there will still be a few broken links, but all the side-bar navigation should work I'm also removing some of the older content and combining some pages for an improved experience
