It should yes. What OS are you using? I have a fix for windows users that isn't release yet.
I will say it took me a while to figure out how to do this on macOS because I hardly ever use multi-select in any apps -- I sort of expected shift-down-arrow (shift-up-arrow) to select neighboring items and eventually I realized it was cmd-click 🙂
On the subject of multi-select, it would be really nice if E
expanded or collapsed multiple items when selected. Thoughts?
I'm down to change the multiple select modifier key. I think shift click might do a range multi-select when I use it with other apps :thinking_face:
I like to keep cmd for multi-select, its the default in Mac OS, like you said, I think the shift should do range select like you said (and as other apps do)

key?
