A talk by Vedang Manerikar from the IN/Clojure 2024 conference, where he talks about how to increase your productivity and where he has a https://youtu.be/pVvuyaRDA58?si=rBFMEyGtspdmGV29&t=1333 on Polylith. He begins by talking about the pros and cons of Micro Services and Monorepos, and then goes on to describe how Polylith solves them.

In this talk, I only wanted to introduce the tool Polylith (as one of many tools I regularly use), so I framed the discussion in a way that would highlight the strengths of Polylith. It isnโ€™t a comparison of microservices and monorepo, since those two are orthogonal topics anyways. Itโ€™s a discussion of how to use a monorepo (with polylith) to deploy microservices. In a hopefully future talk, Iโ€™d love to take a wider view of the whole monolith vs microservices discussions and orthogonal topics like monorepos vs repos, deployment, org-structure.

Given your trying to compare microservices and monorepo, would it help to put those ideas on a shared spectrum so they can be compared in terms of trade offs?
