hi, I would like to have this issue re-opened https://github.com/polyfy/polylith/issues/160 . I think it was closed prematurely. IMO creating a workspace in an existing git repo should not run git commit by default. poly create should have a cli flag the user can toggle to git commit.

thanks - I also lost un-committed code because poly reate overwrote the files - deps.edn, gitignore
Maybe you can update the issue with that too?
