That seemed to go pretty well @tengstrand — do you think?

tengstrand19:05:04

Yes, I think so. I also think that people need to try it out to really understand the benefits.

I agree! It was a great talk @tengstrand. I really liked the handwriting style in your presentation ✏️

Thanks Furkan!

Yeah, it’s definitely one of those things that is hard to really understand until you’ve started using it.

tengstrand19:05:40

I think it’s because it looks so similar to other solutions, but that’s very much an illusion 🙂

I think the code really helped. A follow up with just code might work really well. Overall, I really enjoyed it!

The “demo devil” thing was some problem with embedded terminal within IDEA. I could execute the same poly statement in an external terminal, and also in IDEA after I restarted it. I don’t know what the problem was and this was the first time I’ve seen it.

I’ve given a lot of talks worldwide and done a lot of demos — including one for clustered, sharded MongoDB that went completely off the rails. It happens. It was only a minor “blip” for your demo, trust me, and it didn’t detract from the overall message.
