Documentation seems kind of poor http://pedestal.io/guides/crash-course
I see the Microservices with Clojure has one chapter about pedestal, but it seems overkill to buy the book just for that
@polymeris the guides/samples have been my go-to as I learn pedestal http://pedestal.io/guides/your-first-api http://pedestal.io/samples/index. I agree that the placeholder guides are annoying to run into, but I hope to be able to contribute back by writing some as I learn more
I looked into the Microservices with Clojure book, and it seems to use almost identical text/examples as the pedestal guides, so I don’t think it’s worth it (although that is just my opinion from skimming the preview of it)
Videos like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Cf-STRvFy8 (at least the first half) and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9L5NrCciSDU have been helpful for understanding the core concepts
Thanks! That "First API" guide looks useful, except it seems to be missing an explanation of core concepts. I'll try the videos first
Core concepts are here http://pedestal.io/reference/index
