Clojurians Log v2

I am trying to come up with a comprehensive error reporting/handling story for my pathom resolvers. I would like to hear about other people’s setups. Handling error in a resolver and then returning error message in a map doesn’t work unless the error property is declared on each resolver and then also always queried and that just seems cumbersome. Do you just throw the exception and then catch it outside the query process and go from there?
