Also, I just noticed, when I start the supercollider server, I cannot use any sound device anymore on ubuntu, is there a workaround for this?
@thomas thats a pity. I wanted to stream a bit exploring overtone, but there is no way then.
Haha, I have been switching from Windows back to Ubuntu like two months ago after being abstinent for several years. The fact that W10 will show ads and constantly send data home pushed me away.
@sveri actually you can route pulseaudio through jack https://github.com/jackaudio/jackaudio.github.com/wiki/WalkThrough_User_PulseOnJack#install-cadence
but it has some other issues
I used Cadence for this http://kxstudio.linuxaudio.org/Applications:Cadence
but it does not recognise when I switch from headphones to speakers
