What small and simple solution allows for windowing like Onyx's?

Kafka Streams offers some types of windowing, what are you looking for specifically?

kafka is not very easy / simple to operate though

I need fixed windows (tumbling), based on a timestamp in the data. Can you recommend Apache Beam?
