Morning
Morning!
So quick q, I enquired a while back about polyglot (Java/Python/R) support for Onyx, and it was mentioned that some nice intergrations were forthcoming
I’m getting closer to actually using this stuff, so is there any progress on that ?
@joelkuiper: In 0.7.0, we opened up the interfaces to make integration with Java easier. You still need to write things in terms of Clojure's seq implementations and keywords though - a better interface that shields Java devs from that is needed. It's not high on the priority list now, but if you wanted to pitch in it would be a relatively small job.
Unfortunately no progress on Python/R, sorry. Bigger fish to fry at the moment.
fair!
I might chip in at some point, for now I can probably just use some Process thingy
Sounds good.
