Under our car, right outside our house. Living in a slightly remote location has its perks. :)
omg so cute
peaceful coexistence with the cat?
hopefully not a bolivian army ending
I suppose the street cats don't have any reason to antagonize the hedgehog since they have much more easily available sources of food, and hedgehog meat isn't worth the injuries. And the hedgehog doesn't care because it knows that, since it has probably never had any negative experiences with cats.
Also saw a fox on our driveway 3 weeks ago. :) And we have a couple of kestrels nesting in a cypress tree outside the house. Noisy birds. And not potty trained. :(
He did turn away when the cat wanted to sniff him
The hedgehog is hidden, you see nothing. (Yes, it's another encounter, just now.)
Heh, neat. Yeah, "our" hedgehog also didn't mind the presence and even flickering flashlights all that much. But any kind of unexpected noise would startle it.
