I've been kind of a sideline Clojure enthusiast for years, but this modern generation of LLM's has really helped me to just dive in and overcome the blank page. Two dozen automation scripts rewritten from Ruby into BB clj. And then, through iterative processes, massaged individually to be more idiomatic as I understand more. It's the opposite of overwhelming, I'm crazy addicted
Are you getting into the REPL too? Controlling clojure from inside the process?
Literally my next step! And I was always too overwhelmed to get to this point before
Perhaps a bit of a weird pattern, but I'm actually playing with using the nrepl as a form of local IPC. Transitioning from shell use to nrepl use for a long-running automation monolith
There are many ways in! For me, babashka was key, and I did plenty of process restarts. But the REPL is the core of why I enjoy Clojure!
