1000x: The Power of an Interface for Performance by Joran Dirk Greef (creator and CEO of TigerBeetle) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKgfk8lTQuE Fantastic software engineering talk... • Speaks to the design sensibilities of many of us here; decomplecting things and finding "The Interface" is every card-carrying Clojurian's passion. • He presents compelling rationale, with arithmetic workings. • The demos in the second half are superbly produced. • Plus, the talk begins with a reference to Jepsen (at 3m 45sec, says Greef, about "The Interface" (a very valuable interface) having being "Jepsened a thousand times"). That alone makes it a Clojure-adjacent talk, in my book :D

About the talk, the visualizations were next level haha. But I'm a bit sad that the whole "interfaces" just came down to batch APIs.
