Hey. Does anyone use MacOS and use SSHFS? I can't understand why it doesn't work. Did anyone manage to figure it out? In my case it hangs and ^C doesn't terminate it from the terminal. I couldn't install it using brew so I installed it manually (both macFUSE and sshfs from the same guy). For me this seems to be a basic functionality and MacOS seems to be missing it all... Weird.

it worked for me after installing the latest osxfuse https://github.com/osxfuse/osxfuse/releases and not using brew

sounds like that's what you did - I think you have to reboot after install. Other than that I don't know

I found a video in the internet which installs version 4.1.2 so I decided to install it for no apparent reason. And I also added parameter -o workaround=all. So now it works. I'll try it without the param Edit: It works either way. So probably the downgrading helped.

Are you folks on Intel or M1 Macs? I made extensive use of sshfs in years prior on Intel Macs but never got it running on Apple Silicon. If you have fuse/sshfs working on M1 now that’d be great to hear.

I'm on 2014 macbook pro. I have no idea what it is and I think it's not M1.

Nope that’s Intel-based, M1 / Apple Silicon just came about in 2020

If you don't have tools you have security, I guess. Less perimeter to cover. Or no perimeter to cover  Did you try tools like mountainduck? Do they work? They claim they work... somehow
