If you find one let me know. All I know of is the java subreddit and about 5 or so Java discords. None are an actual "community" in a similar way. Mostly just a revolving door of college students doing CS 101 stuff and like a half dozen moderators.

That's sad. I'm trying to do a mildly crazy thing and could use the help.

There are quite a few people here that are knowledgeable about Java and JVM, so I would definitely try asking in #off-topic or #other-languages

I'll have to give it a shot here, then.

There's also #java. Not sure how active it is, though. 🙂

@robbie.huffman It’s not as big, but there is the Discord organized by Nicolai Parlog. He is a longtime Java Blogger / Streamer and now works as a Dev Advocate for Oracle directly. The community is friendly, always interested in crazy stuff and there are a lot of knowledgeable people in there : https://discord.com/invite/7m9w8Td

Thanks for all the resources! I had been looking but didn't find either of those.

Nundrum13:03:41

I posted my question over in #java in the meantime.

https://wisp.town/ Fun little structural editing demo for a WASM based lisp impl (I think there are at least 3 different lisp implementations named "wisp" at this point)

gklijs20:03:18

It appears to be Wasm, I also always did it wrong.

slack has joined the developer wars, calling SQL “ess-cue-ell” rather than “sequel”
