If you find one let me know. All I know of is the java subreddit and about 5 or so Java discords. None are an actual "community" in a similar way. Mostly just a revolving door of college students doing CS 101 stuff and like a half dozen moderators.
There are quite a few people here that are knowledgeable about Java and JVM, so I would definitely try asking in #off-topic or #other-languages
@robbie.huffman It’s not as big, but there is the Discord organized by Nicolai Parlog. He is a longtime Java Blogger / Streamer and now works as a Dev Advocate for Oracle directly. The community is friendly, always interested in crazy stuff and there are a lot of knowledgeable people in there : https://discord.com/invite/7m9w8Td
Tomorrow is the last day to complete the babashka survey! Please take it if you're using bb! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScQ13ZKsXzN594uvzxOTV8juaoETIHDk-T1XBizwe-fVh8Gyw/viewform
https://wisp.town/ Fun little structural editing demo for a WASM based lisp impl (I think there are at least 3 different lisp implementations named "wisp" at this point)
