In the first minute of Stuart Halloway's talk "Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Developer" here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUZZKtypink he says something that sounds like "Sherlock Holmes is the O.G. software developer." I am not familiar with this use of "O.G.". Is anyone else? Is it just like "oh, gee!", or is it an acronym for something?
Sounds plausible. Like in the definition on this page? https://www.dictionary.com/e/slang/og/
Thanks
@U0CMVHBL2 I gather you have never listened to much rap music? 😆
I have been fairly ignorant of most popular culture for a couple of decades now. 🙂. I am OK with that.
On the plus side, every once in a while I come across a TV show or band that lots of people have known about for. years, and if I really like them, I get to enjoy them for the first time, and often multiple album's or season's worth all at once 🙂
An interesting twitter thread about Error Messages in the eyes of Novices (a MSc thesis presentation): https://twitter.com/Felienne/status/1317006021794107392?s=20
Is there a JS of CLJS library which implements a widget similar to "Apply labels to this issue" in Github?
(celebrate!)
happy birthday Clojure, Rich must be a proud father of a teenager now.
