Anyone experience with this course? https://www.superhi.com/courses/html-css-javascript-foundation My brother is looking for a good course to learn html/css/javascript.
Any good talks/articles on Clojure macros? I have some books but I rather have a short informative guide for them to read/watch. My co-workers are currently hacking together java-classes by string concatenation which they then compile. I think they would find macros fascinating.
the mastering clojure macros book is a quick read and covers most use cases in an easily discoverable way
yeah I have that book. I wonder if there is a good talk showing the power of macros though (for thoose who are not familiar with e.g Clojure) 🙂
oh yeah, I think something like compojure is a really cool example
The article I recall is about pretending thread first didn't exist and writing it yourself. It must not be a weavejester though because I can't find it.
might be somewhere in his blog? he has a whole talk about macros
Are you getting bored because of lockdown? I say come join me in clearing the mentoring queue on http://exercism.io. Here are the instructions: https://exercism.io/become-a-mentor. There are 37-odd solutions waiting to be mentored and we can clear it in a day.
I went on a spree there a couple of months ago. Perhaps it's time to get back at it.
@UBU6QCSJH Yes please!
I did 10 already. But looks like "students" are bored too. The queue is filling up as fast as I can clear it.
Took care of 13 more. It's 01:30 here, gotta get some shut-eye 😅
Yeah, sounds about right.
thanks @eggsyntax
