Seems like system76 finally came out with a mordern laptop to rival some of the sleek ones on the market https://system76.com/laptops/darter
dubious of the keyboard and trackpad, I like my x1 carbon's but I also liked my dell until the keys stuck.
looking forward to seeing type c / thunderbolt ports being on both sides some day ๐
I use the pop os and really like it, Hoping they get closer to a more interesting laptop design. Want that linux rival (without having to pay the windows tax for a laptop and just wipe it)
Do we have official clojure logo / icon 32 for web site resources which we can link to use?
I invited @logbot to #rewrite-clj at least since April 2019, but I'm not seeing any logs here: https://clojurians-log.clojureverse.org/rewrite-clj
I have heard a few times in the last year or so that it is recording messages, but the web site access to those logs is currently non-operational.
Do you have the Clojurians Zulipchat bot logging the rewrite-clj channel for you already?
at least we got the zulip logs, but I was hoping that the clojurians-log would go back a little more
If you change the channel name in the URL you provided, you can see that channels like clojure and clojure-dev only have accessible logs from 2015 to 2016.
would you insure a 4000$ laptop for 20$ a month (against accidental damage and theft)? I got this offer when I ordered one, still not sure
Could you add it to your house insurance for less? Mine covers me for named items out of the house.
yeah, it's insured within my house, but I go out twice a day to a coffee place. never had an incident there in 3 years though
it seems Lenovo is a good company, I heard they even come to your house to repair it
Yes, a few years ago I had an X1 Carbon, it failed for some reason - next day someone came out to replace it
@borkdude they're having a sale on the x1, not sure if it's only for the US though, since it is 4th of july related
yeah, I got it for sale from a work related discount.
Signs youโre tired: realizing the CSS hasnโt been loaded and that is why the flexbox is not working. After 4 hours ๐
I don't get to use clojure(script) at my work (mostly java/groovy stuffs) so I try to work on some personal projects at home but keep running into issues ๐ that has kept me busy so far
What I did for a small project in clojure was a tiny ring/compojure website. Then my next few small projects were adding routes to the small website until it became almost a medium website.
