any musics/playlists/artists you guys like to hear while coding or studying?
There are lots, but somehow I find Simeon Ten Holt's "Canto Ostinato" uniquely well-suited to intense focus. I save it for really hard problems. I'd be fascinated to know whether anyone else has the same experience. You can hear a version of the whole thing at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-4bh8J84Go [EDIT - linked to a different performance; sound quality was poor on the original link]
I currently listen to either the minecraft soundtrack or stuff like pokemon route themes. Depends on the kind of work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dg0IjOzopYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVDNonuvo08
Been digging Dark, Atmospheric, Sci-Fi Music https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vb-jZDiGrDo&index=1&list=PLn9WD06vjtzD9mjyA_PbMaMo9R5GBnYC_
@eggsyntax that's really interesting, i'm going to give a try!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FGtd3oH_PQ i've literally only listened to this album while programming lol
gonna check it out
but i've already heard one or two songs from boards of canada
i like it
I turned into a techno animal at my last job https://www.youtube.com/user/brtvofficial/videos
oh boy, these songs from boards of canada, they are creepy.....
i need the right mood
it's too deep
it's those kind of songs that i've used to listen while tripping y'know
so, good and bad memories mixing together
minimal techno is good too
I think this is classified as hard techno https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJl2LyNEz0s

@eggsyntax Iβll try that! Sounds similar to some of my hard-problem music (Frozen Synapse soundtrack)
That works π You probably saw this after I edited the OP, but if you listen, makes sure to do https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-4bh8J84Go instead of the link I originally posted.
I tend to get stuck on a certain artist and then move on after some time β¦ recentish discovery: https://open.spotify.com/artist/0L4iq15qO4HwZvEcVMI7U3?si=0eNowcZzQSWUEK5PyeozvQ
This works well for me: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MoonBabies_(album)
Been on a synthwave kick while coding lately. This channel on YT is great for 24/7 music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIslDzEU5fM&t=3647s

Which is how I found this awesome remix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BY5WE66YKcU
Scandroid's stuff is good; I prefer his instrumentals, as his vocals can be rather weak, and his lyrics even moreso.
been enjoying this album lately: https://open.spotify.com/album/5UVbQO1F3PxHQM2ZttzCAV

DOOM soundtrack
Over the last year I've become literally unable to work with music on... I guess it conflicts with my new pomodoro-like approach
"Is that a medley of barking dogs 'singing' Christmas carols?" -- "THE CUT WAS EXACTLY 20 MINUTES LONG I HAVE A VERY LIMITED SELECTION!"
