Anyone have an XPS 13 with linux and have it working with an external monitor?
Oh, hey @U09LZR36F, i have this usb-c dock https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019R9ILTG/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and whenever I try to connect the monitor via the system freezes until I pull it away. What distro/dock setup do you have that it works for you?
I haven't used that dock, and not recognising HooToo I personally wouldn't. Usb C is more complex than it's predecessors.
I use that one: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01MQIATM8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 no freezing issue
Oops wrong one, I meant https://www.amazon.co.uk/Anker-Premium-Mini-Dock-Ethernet-Chromebook/dp/B072F2M874/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1525169594&sr=1-1&keywords=anker+usb+c+hub although I think I had an older version
I tried again last night and I guess since I updated/restarted it showed up properly, unfortunately my monitor's max resolution is 1920*1080. What resolution are you able to output to. I keep my laptop @ 1080 since it's just a better experience as HiDpi hasn't been good even with scaling, but would like to output to a higher resolution monitor
in an intellij project, is there a way to specify a classname and get a list of all its members / functions ?
@qqq While in a class file buffer, if I hit cmd+f12 on mac it shows all methods of the class. you can hit it again to show all inherited as well.
guys http://bill.com is awful…can everyone agree to stop using them?
@qqq Are you in #cursive ? I bet you'll find plenty of IntelliJ folks in there who could answer that...
@jgh I'd never heard of http://bill.com until you mentioned them 🙂
Forget who exist? 🙂
