@ajs What orestis says is right. You're dealing with a uniform distribution here where the std deviation is (Math/sqrt (/ (* 99 99) 12.0)) ~ 29. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uniform_distribution_(continuous)

I think the thing I miss most about working at an office on a larger team is the ability to share cool new tricks/techniques I come across. It's harder to gauge when working by yourself whether a technique is neat because it's concise or because you wrote it in a new/different way.

bja i miss that too, i feel i get some of it back by pair programming remotely frequently
