fucking hell, digitalocean spammed me with like 20 2fa tokens (slowly, to make it more interesting) and I guess I guessed which one to use too many times…now i’m locked out of my account and support isn’t getting back to me 😛

i like digitalocean normally but goddamn how hard is it to unlock an account

You tried to login 20 times? If not somebody might be trying to log to your account

no, i tried to login once and digitalocean sent me about 20 2fa tokens via sms

problem was they were arriving fairly slowly so i would use the one I received and it would say invalid token then another one would arrive

ok i used a proxy just now and got a bit farther, but it still gave me forbidden when i logged in using a backup code..bah.

and it sent me a bunch of codes again…their 2fa system is clearly totally fucked up

for some reason my api tokens are pointing to the wrong account, too…like i have multiple linked organizations and the token im expecting to point to org A is pointing to org B

so its not like I can even do anything through the api

very frustrating.

actually that was a caching issue, looks like i can do what i need to do through the api…

looks like im able to log back in again…still havent heard from support…must have been some kind of outage, but there’s no mention of it on twitter or any status page.
