+1 for @seancorfield 's suggestion of "typing in an editor, then evaluating it in a repl" -- that's basically how I write all my code 1. write function in emacs 2. press key-combo, cider evals last sexp 3. write a ;; (some-simple-example), eval it 4. if results = mental expectation, go on; else, debug
