for any linux users here, does anyone use grub legacy? How widely used a bootloader is it today?

I've been on UEFI since like 2014, on Arch Linux. Grub Legacy is no longer officially maintained on that distro. I think a lot of newer laptops and motherboards only support UEFI, making Grub Legacy not an option

But if you have a BIOS motherboard, Grub Legacy is still perfectly usable

Grub2 should work with bios anyway.

yeah, I don't use it, but I'm making a backup/cloning program and I'm wondering if I should support it. I'm leaning towards no. It's a lot of effort for low pay-off
