@tbaldridge : did you ever plan with rewriting systems, or was it rule-systems you were talking about earlier?

@qqq I would say git log is your friend, IIRC it has a lot of options. Also I found tortoisegit to be a very good gui for searching the history although I never searched for a deleted file.
@qqq there are archives of this slack on the internet. They probably break the ToS of Slack but whatever.
