Someone has probably already brought this up, but http://www.familytreenow.com I saw a Facebook post about this site today. Apparently it has family names, addresses, and phone numbers on just about everybody. There's an opt out form to get your details removed.

kevinmershon00:01:21

Not at all happy about this. I notified my whole team, etc.

qqq00:01:39

or the 'opt out' form just confirms your data

kevinmershon00:01:18

I sincerely hope not. But yeah, probably.

fellshard01:01:17

Pretty sure most of those kinds of details are entered in by family members who browse genealogies themselves; I say that as someone whose Grandpa was fascinated with this when it was first on the web.

fellshard01:01:34

They see it as helping out the effort

olslash04:01:14

had my mothers maiden name and address, thats really cool

olslash04:01:30

plus like all my relatives

qqq05:01:22

how about the city you were born in and which highschooll you went to?

fellshard06:01:53

Never select security questions, especially idiotically public ones like that

fellshard06:01:05

Just one social engineering step from having things compromised -_-

fellshard06:01:16

and sometimes not even that

mavbozo06:01:33

for some service that makes that questions mandatory, i treatit like a password field

akiroz08:01:18

same here, I use my password manager with security questions.... but it was just because I could never remember the answers ๐Ÿ˜›

akiroz08:01:53

I got locked out of an account once and my questions was "What's my favourite Album?", I set up the account back when I was a kid.....

qqq08:01:54

I'm not as hardcore as you guys. I just put in Tech answers. For example What was the name of your first Pet? EmacsEvilPareditCiderMode (I've never had a pet). This has both the dual features of (1) being guessable and (2) I can't remember it.

qqq09:01:55

anyone know of a good camera stand that points down at the desk? I'm looking fr something that can record my desk/table as I write

dominicm10:01:46

In Spacemacs, when I have searched using SPC-/ and closed the Helm Projectile Grep window, how can I return to the closed window with previously found results open? SPC-/ opens a fresh empty search window.

ejelome14:01:54

is that like winner-undo?

erwinrooijakkers14:01:20

@ejelome thanks, thatโ€™s not it ๐Ÿ™‚

erwinrooijakkers14:01:52

The helm-grep buffer does not reopen.
