@fellshard, curious, what were the main points of your pitch?

Sadly, it wasn't a solo pitch. It was a colloquium, with the two articles that were pitched in being: * https://medium.com/@jugoncalves/functional-programming-should-be-your-1-priority-for-2015-47dd4641d6b9 * http://blog.ploeh.dk/2012/05/25/Designpatternsacrossparadigms/ So it was mostly trying to act as a proponent for FP while others slung common misconceptions and questions. Made individual points as focused as possible, but couldn't give any overall structure to it. Doesn't help that the 'moderator' of the colloquium hasn't ever touched it, so he pretty much took even the slightest bit of conversation as a 'that's good enough'.
