what do people recommend as a job queue, e.g. for sending emails from a web app? This is a pretty small app, just looking for something that is simple to get started with

Why don’t you give core.async a try @plexus ?

because it doesn't persist across reboots

@plexus: Immutant has this as a battery included, I think also as a library
