i’m having trouble with java not being able to find any ssl certs on os x mavericks

swizzard13:03:12

everything on e.g. SO is pointing me to directories that don’t exist on my computer 😞

@borkdude: That may have been the worst written article I've read all year. As a speaker of multiple languages, I was willing to put up with some English mistakes, but then, "gangsta rap!" I'm overwhelmed by the credibility of this masterpiece. bravo.

borkdude15:03:53

@ymilky: The author, Xah Lee, is known for his English

swizzard16:03:11

argh i am losing my mind with this ssl stuff y'all

swizzard16:03:50

does anyone know about java on os x mavericks?

swizzard16:03:21

specifically whether there could be other places it’d look for CA certs besides /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.8.0_74.jdk/Contents/Home/jre/lib/security/cacerts?

borkdude18:03:57

@fommil: I did try ensime. It was more stable for me in Atom than Emacs

borkdude19:03:29

@fommil: Anyway, I like the experience from within Atom. I showed it to my colleague and he immediately adopted it 😉

fommil19:03:19

@borkdude! cool. I'm surprised you found atom to be more stable, the emacs one is rock solid

borkdude19:03:54

@fommil: I don't know what happened. I tried it on a sample Play project and it crashed with some error about a server

borkdude19:03:00

@fommil: couldn't figure it out

Turn around, pretty lady!

meow20:03:36

Anyone going to Clojure/west?

meow20:03:47

"I see a red door and I want it painted black..."

borkdude20:03:33

@meow: Are you talking to yourself and then also raging as a reaction? simple_smile

meow20:03:25

@borkdude: How'm I doing? 😉

meow20:03:10

I have the shiniest meat bicycle.
