Why does the community prefer this to IRC though?

The compiler is very helpful and it has a good learning curve. The FRP model it it uses is a pretty good one.

The tooling is nowhere near as developed as ClojureScript. The same with JS interop it's the most painful interop I've seen so far (e.g. ClojureScript, PureScript, CoffeScript)

Yeah, I was surprised when I found out that the hot reloading is not working out of the box

But sometime, when I'm dealing with obscure error reports, adventuring into java-land or trying to understand om, I feel like I'm almost punishing myself 😅
