I've taken a look at Haskell again and want to build a small webapp in it, just to get a feel for it

I tried running the example from this library: https://github.com/scotty-web/scotty but I get C errors: Web/Scotty/Internal/Types.hs:18:23: error: token is not a valid binary operator in a preprocessor subexpression #if !(MIN_VERSION_base(4,8,0)) anybody know what I should do next?
