But if traction is "widely used, whether in education or production", then Common Lisp, AutoLISP, ELisp, Scheme and Racket qualify. Maybe Guile as well, not sure.

Common Lisp is used a lot by cognitive modelling (psychology) type people (think ACT-R and friends)
