spacemacs++ from me. I felt so free after throwing out my ducttape and glue emacs config and switching over. Spacemacs has a thing they call "layers" which is a (finally!) a sane way to organize your own personal config in a way that works within the broader spacemacs framework
spacemacs++ from me. But actually I just make my config on top of spacemacs since I more like to use org-mode for building emacs config.

it has a very classic feel with Isaac Asimov’s level of ideas and attention to details
