Cannot wait, a friend of mine was part of the closed beta and posted some screenshots, looks really awesome. Also he flew on his 8 year old machine without any major problems

thomas09:08:32

that is good to know.... I bought a new machine with the MSFS specs in mind

thomas09:08:40

(as I needed a new computer anyway)

thomas09:08:56

and yes I am counting down the days....

thomas09:08:24

and to make my point 😉

sveri09:08:45

I see 🙂

sveri09:08:03

I think a nice monitor setup will bring the most

sveri09:08:19

and some money in your pockets, depending an what and where you want to fly

thomas09:08:31

yeah, I think I got the wrong monitor though....

thomas09:08:49

I got one full HD at the moment... 2 4K ones would be nice,

thomas09:08:57

and I hadn't had a computer myself for quite a few years... I used my employers laptops for the last 10 years orso... and they weren't windows either

dharrigan09:08:45

I've never played it (at all, before). However, given what I've seen from the demos, it may be interesting. I'll lurk here for a bit 🙂

sveri09:08:06

I played the first version in the 90-ies and it came with a manual back then where you could read and learn the different types of navigation for instance, how to blind flight, take off and landing procedures, it was so awesome 🙂

dharrigan10:08:29

Does it have helicopters?

dharrigan10:08:35

Always wanted to fly a helicopter

thomas10:08:02

It doesn't come with helicopters

thomas10:08:36

last time I really played was in the late 80's, early 90's, version 3 or 4.

sveri11:08:00

oh well, maybe I didn't play the first version then.

thomas12:08:27

I think the very first version is from 82. it is actually older than windows

sveri12:08:39

Interesting, never knew that, I was 2 back then and we had an oven for heating and not even a TV. Guess I did not play the first version 😄
