Lifecycle bug fixed. I had carelessly hacked on sophisticated dependency tracking code without "warming up" on the code, and it was not elegant code when I started. Fixed the bug, then the inelegance. 🙂

Pretty annoying without that, but I originally knocked the thing off just for fun.
