Hi @seancorfield I have made a commit now that seems to fix the issue with Windows Subsystem for Linux. I now use "delete to end of line" escape instead of overwriting the chars with spaces. This prevents unwanted console-linebreaks that I cannot disable in Windows.

Thank you! Didn't get a chance to try the workaround last night so I'll try this new version over the weekend I expect.
