Some time ago I placed JARs into lib/ and somehow Leiningen picked them up when resolving dependencies (iirc), but I cannot figure out how that worked anymore. Does someone have a hint?
Found this SO answer, which explains it very concisely: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/19496263/how-do-i-use-checked-in-jars-with-leiningen/19496915
