I’m thinking of making the main web site for my libraries on our own site, like this https://carouselapps.com/jar-copier/ instead of just GitHub (https://github.com/carouselapps/jar-copier). It gives me more control, but do you think it reduces the trust?

in that case I think you are fine... it is what the Clojurewerkz people have done as well (I think).
