Didn't realize meow is also modal. So hard to keep track of all the emacs packages and to have an informed opinion about which ones to use... Most of the work on corgi is really just reading lots of elisp and trying to understand the possibilities and trade offs

i'm trying to roll my own config now, coming from emacs, and it's pretty overwhelming trying to vet all the packages i could use

especially being new to elisp as well

I decided to take the idea of separating keybindings and signals and have rolled my own little library. it's only about 60 LOC and feels pretty good so far

I might make publish it to show later

corgi's defaults are also pretty nice and the code is well documented. very useful. thanks for that 🙏🏻
