I did end up getting the quefrency, and I am LOVING it! Still tinkering around with programming it, but I've already found lots of useful stuff for my workflow. I have been officially bit by the keyboard bug again though....want to try an ergonomic or ortho keyboard next

It also feels right programming in Clojure on Emacs using keycaps based off of the keyboard that inspired emacs design
