hie random thing, I've noticed that Joyride its making Calva not start the REPL. Just uninstalled and worked, I don't know if its a known issue ๐
I canโt reproduce this with Cursor 1.7.40 and Joyide 0.0.65. Though there seems to be something wrong with the Joyride open-vsx entry, because the open-vsx server throws a 503 when trying to Install a specific version of Joyride.
And Joyride also works fine, even if Cursor probably canโt use it, like Copilot can.
Extensions should be totally isolated from each other, so it is very strange that Joyride can trip Calva up just by being installed.
Whatโs the Cursor Extension Marketplace, btw? All I can find is this: https://cursordocs.com/en/changelog/67-cursor-marketplace And some note on the forum from earlier this year that they had changed to use Open-VSX as the underlying provider. I thought all clones always did that.
What version of Joyride do you have installed? 0.0.64 was problematic. 0.0.65 is available.
I don't know, was right before updating it so maybe I was in the cursed version
Thatโs really weird. I really have no idea why that would happen.
I've uninstalled Joyride because also I was not using but I can try to replicate. It happened in Cursor by the way
What got you to even suspect Joyride?
Someone at nubank Nu had the same problem and pointed out to me I can get him to maybe point out here in the thread loading
hello ๐ I had this bug yesterday when using the newest Cursor at the time (1.7.38). I had suspected Joyride because it was the latest extension that I had installed, and I do not have much, so I uninstalled and the problem got away.
strangely enough, the newest Joyride that appears on the Cursor marketplace for me is 0.0.63
while in my personal machine, VSCode shows 0.0.65 as the most recent
Hmm, so potentially a Joyride/Cursor incompatibility? Since it works just fine in VS Code.
Today Cursor had an update as well
I suspect so @seancorfield, though I haven't updated cursor today yet
