i’ve been thinking of Repl + UI like Portal as not just common dataviz, but cheap arbitrary devtime ui without the cost or ceremony of an overarching ui framework. Like a background ui framework for devtools. This seems to bring it more intimately into the devtools space of vscode runtime (least for quick startup dynamic eval, reinforcing the low cost, low ceremony part)
