And also check the doc directory which is also updated. Thanks in advance for help testing this!
And if it's already installed, VS Code will automatically update it -- you just need to reload the window.
That goes for when it is released. Which it is now. But when I posted that, it wasn't.
Maybe I misunderstood your comment, @seancorfield?
Timezones are hard 😆 By the time I woke up, it was released and available as an update!
I was impatient. All my testing of the VSIX worked. I guess that is the bliss of something new and small. I can test it all very quickly.
I hope ya'all's testing went well 😃 https://github.com/BetterThanTomorrow/joyride/releases/tag/v0.0.3
Here's a growth hack idea for Joyride. We can script some Extensions and make them do things. Maybe look at the issues for them and see if there are feature requests that the extension author is hesitant about. We implement that with Joyride and comment on the issue about the solution. I was thinking that I should make some examples for Joyriding GitLens to keep Eric Amodio's interest warm. Then I realized that we can help with a lot of issues out there probably. To start the snowball rolling.
“Yo dawg, I heard you like extensions. I put some extensions in your extension so that you can extend your extensions with extensions!” —Xzibit, probably.
Haha, no, more like ”Dear OP: I've made a Joyride script that solves this issue similar to how you describe it. Here's a gist. Install the Joyride extension and give it a spin if you like!”
I'm just messing around and being silly 🙃
Also, since we are providing a Clojure gateway drug here, we should think a bit about how we make it easy for Joyride users to find their way to this slack.
FYI: Latest Calva, v2.0.270, has proper support for connecting to Joyride's nREPL server: https://calva.io/joyride/
