That’s on us, and we’ll correct it right away. • Regarding the account creation: as happens in most recruiting platforms, candidates’ information is stored in our database for future opportunities where we may find a match with your profile and reach out. At the same time, this also gives applicants the chance to access our platform and view other active openings. In this process, Simbiosis assists with the vetting stage, but your application is always submitted directly to the hiring company, which in this case is our client. We are very careful with the information and do not misuse it, but we will make sure to be more explicit about this upfront, so expectations are clear. • About the auto-generated profile: I’m sorry your biography didn’t reflect your actual information. This is definitely something I’ll review with our technical team to improve how CV transcripts are handled. I apologize for the experience and any confusion caused. something doesn't quite smell right here... • went through the application to be told at the end that We've sent the async interview questionnaire to this is a required step to proceed with your application.... but never received anything • realized later that an account on simbiosis.team had been created for me on account of me applying for a position NOT at simbiosis.team • also discovered later that a profile had been created for me on simbiosis.team, with a self-description that I was never informed about and therefore never agreed to; but that looks SO accurate (I mean SO accurate! My over 2 decades of experience got rewritten to "7 years as a driving force in software engineering") There's more, but in short, this felt like a real bait and switch. As a note: I reached out to the actual hiring company itself, and was able to confirm that this is a legitimate post. So no issues on that front. It's just the simbiosis process and experience that is the issue for me.
