📢 Join Cambridge University and help millions of learners worldwide 👋🏻 My team within Cambridge University Press and Assessment is hiring for full-stack Clojure engineers to join our web applications team. Join our team to help develop and maintain Clojure-based web applications like Write & Improve and Speak & Improve, along with supporting APIs and services. You'll work across the stack, from SPAs to AWS infrastructure, in a collaborative agile environment. Location: Remote within the UK Salary: £41,700 – £54,150 What you'll do: • Build and maintain full-stack applications using Clojure. • Collaborate with our in-house AI/ML researchers to deliver new learning capabilities and feedback to millions of worldwide users. • Design APIs, develop SPAs, and manage AWS deployments. • Contribute to DevOps, automated testing, and continuous delivery. What we're looking for: • Experience with Clojure and SPA development using React based frameworks (re-frame, uix, etc.) • Familiarity with SPAs, REST APIs, and frontend tech (JS, HTML, CSS). • Knowledge of SQL, AWS, and Infrastructure as Code.
